The Westfield Southcenter expansion will include a variety of retailers and restaurants currently not found in South King County and several new-to-market specialty stores. The newest additions to Westfield Southcenter will provide customers with more options and a better shopping experience than ever before. The new additions will create a place to gather and meet to shop, dine and enjoy life.


AMC Theaters - Located on the third level, a state-of-the-art 16-screen theatre will be a featured addition to the Westfield Southcenter entertainment experience. The theater will feature:
  • Digital surround sound
  • Floor-to-floor, wall-to-wall premium movie screens
  • Stadium seating with 18-inch risers for optimal viewing
  • AMC’s exclusive LoveSeat®-style seating
  • Automated Box Office (ABO) kiosks for easy ticket purchasing and advance ticket order pick-up will also be available
Westfield Southcenter is excited to unveil five new signature restaurants as part of its $240 million expansion; including Joeys, Duke’s Chowder House, Blue C Sushi, Racha Thai & Asian Bistro and BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse. Opening this summer, the new restaurant collection will be located in an outdoor promenade setting under the new 90-foot glass façade entry where diners will enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier from indoor and al-fresco seating areas.

Joeys Seafood and Grill: The kind of friendly, bustling seafood restaurant you'd find just around the corner if you lived in Nantucket. Joey’s menu features classic dishes charged up with fresh, lively flavor, exotic tastes from across the globe, and some creations that you just won’t see anywhere else.

Duke’s Chowder House:
Duke’s Chowder House offers a casual, unpretentious atmosphere where comfort, cold beer, tasty cocktails and scrumptious food all come together.

Blue C Sushi: Japanese inspired dishes that raise the quality bar for conveyor belt sushi. A one-of-a-kind Kaiten Sushi experience where customers can enjoy affordable authentic Japanese food in an inviting atmosphere.

Racha Thai & Asian Bistro: enjoy Thai classics such as training-wheels versions of papaya yum, with hot chilis, green beans, dried shrimp, and peanuts, and the notorious "Crying Tiger" yum with beef strips in vinaigrette of fragrant herbs.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse: A high energy, casual dining restaurant that offers an extensive menu including BJ’s signature deep dish pizza, generously portioned salads, sandwiches, soups, pasta, entrées, their own line of handcrafted micro brewed beers and the famous Pizookie® dessert.

Westfield Southcenter unveils its latest collection of exciting fashion retailers unveiling on Grand Opening Day, July 25, 2008:


Forever XXI, one of the fastest growing retailers specializing in teen and young adult fashions, is a familiar name to Westfield Southcenter shoppers. The new flagship Forever XXI will occupy two floors, covering 26,500 square feet, and feature a variety of clothes from designer collections to casual; creative designs and accessories for the style conscious and trend-savvy shopper.


Gilly Hicks, a newly launched subsidiary brand of Abercrombie & Fitch, focuses on intimates and loungewear such as bras, panties, boxers, boxer briefs, t-shirts, sweatshirts, pajama pants, summery tank tops, and swimsuits, as well as personal care products. The lifestyle brand is new to the west coast and will appeal to younger consumers inside the store’s approximate 10,000 square foot space.


Shoppers will find the stylish in-house designs of Swedish clothing compan H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) fashionable for men, women, teenagers, and children. Noted as an innovative company, H&M has also pioneered style collaborations with international designers and style icons such as Karl Lagerfeld and Madonna. This flagship location for the Pacific Northwest will include more than 25,000 square feet of shopping on two floors, covering basic pieces to fashion trends.


PINK, a stand alone retail concept and collection from Victoria’s Secret, makes its debut in the Seattle area at Westfield Southcenter featuring a lineup of loungewear, sleepwear, intimate apparel and accessories such as bags, bedding, and flip-flops. Geared toward the 18-22 year old female with a fun, fresh and free-spirited approach, PINK has attracted a loyal following since its initial launch in 2004.


Love Culture, another new retail name to the Puget Sound, showcases a unique style on women’s clothing, jeans, blouses, jewelry, accessories and shoes, while popular retailers such as Bare Escentuals, Lucky Brand Jeans, Sephora, and White House | Black Market further complement Westfield Southcenter’s already diverse selection.
